TikTok users across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) can now save songs directly from TikTok to their Anghami music libraries, thanks to a new partnership between the two platforms.
Anghami, the leading music streaming service in the Arab world, has officially joined TikTok’s “Add to Music App” feature — a tool that allows users to instantly save tracks they discover on TikTok to their favorite music streaming app.
This new integration is now live in key MENA markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and more, enhancing the music experience for millions of TikTok users across the region.
What Is TikTok’s “Add to Music App” Feature?
Launched globally in 2024, TikTok’s Add to Music App feature allows users to add songs from TikTok videos directly to streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL, Melon, and now Anghami.
Since its debut, the feature has driven over 1 billion song saves, leading to billions of streams across various platforms. TikTok is positioning itself as not just a hub for viral music discovery — but also a bridge to music streaming.
How It Works for Anghami Users
When watching a TikTok video, users will see an “Add Song” button below the track name. Upon tapping it for the first time, they can select Anghami as their default streaming platform.
Once set, songs will be saved directly to their Anghami Liked Songs or Library. Users can update their preferred platform at any time via TikTok’s Settings & Privacy section. Tracks can also be saved from an artist’s dedicated Song Page on TikTok.
Industry Leaders React to the New Integration
“TikTok is already the global hub for music discovery, and this feature takes that experience further by allowing users to instantly save and stream the songs they love,” said Lindsey Zikry, Global Product Partnerships Lead at TikTok.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Anghami – the region’s top music streaming platform – to bring this experience to users in the Middle East and North Africa.”
Wael Hourani, Product Director at Anghami, echoed the excitement:
“This is a major step forward in linking the discovery of music with the ability to enjoy it instantly. As the go-to platform for Arabic and international music in the region, we’re proud to partner with TikTok to offer this feature.”
A Strategic Launch with Nancy Ajram’s New Album
The announcement comes at a pivotal moment for music in the region. Paris-based music company Believe recently expanded its Artist Services division in MENA and signed a landmark deal with iconic Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram.
Ajram’s highly anticipated album Nancy 11 was released on July 17, coinciding with the TikTok-Anghami launch.
“We’re incredibly proud to collaborate with global icon Nancy Ajram on the release of Nancy 11,” said Georges ‘Josh’ Rouhana, TikTok’s Music Partnerships Lead in MENA.
“Now, thanks to TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ feature, fans can save their favorite Nancy Ajram songs directly to Anghami with one tap.”
Why This Matters for Music Fans in MENA
This partnership reflects a growing trend: platforms are working together to streamline music discovery and consumption. For TikTok creators, artists, and fans in the MENA region, the ability to transition from a viral video to a streaming playlist just got easier.
With Anghami now integrated into TikTok’s music ecosystem, the path from discovery to stream has never been more seamless
